Welcome back! For our first official photo blog, I’m bringing out one of my favorite summer weddings to date! I knew the first time I spoke with Theresa and Brennan that their Savannah, GA wedding was going to be beautiful and it certainly lived up to every expectation that I had of their picture perfect day.
The ceremony took place at one of Savannah’s most popular historical attractions, the Forsyth Park Fountain. With its romantic garden walkways and gorgeous landscaping, this spot is a wedding photographer’s dream come true.
Following their sweet nuptials, the couple opted for an private photo session at nearby Bethesda Academy. This spot is another treasured location that I love to utilize when I’m in Savannah. From its oak lined, iron gate entryway to its stunning water front views, a dreamier spot is not easy to find. You can see Theresa & Brennan’s excitement and love for each other in every picture.
Finally, the couple ended the night dancing, eating cake and celebrating their love at Churchhill’s Pub in Savannah’s historic district. They kept the décor simple and elegant, with splashes of light pink and purple to match the bride’s bouquet and the bridesmaids’ stunning full length periwinkle dresses. They opted for the trendy naked cake, which fit in beautifully with their stylish theme.
That’s it for now! I hope you enjoyed checking out this wedding as much as I enjoyed shooting it. Until next time, friends!
